How do I join Mom Index?

Click on the "Join Mom Index" link on the left sidebar and you will be taken to the member registration form.  Complete and submit the member registration form. Once you submit your registration form, you will receive a confirmation letter via email. The confirmation letter will include your Mom Index ID and password. Use this information to Login to Mom Index. The Login option can be located in the left side bar on any page.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you lost or forgot your password, click on the Forgot Your Password? link on the Login screen and follow the instructions to receive your member login information.

Do you offer a search option?

A quick search option is offered in the Mom Index Business Listings section and is called "Keyword". The Business Listings section also includes search options using categories and sub-categories.

Do you have any search tips for the Business Listings section?

The Business Listings section includes a check box for Catalog & Internet Businesses Only. Select this option if the business does not have a storefront in a particular state. These types of businesses are companies that offer goods and services from a website or catalog only. To search for listings in a particular state, select the state from the drop down box on the homepage. If you want to view all options in a category, do not select the check box for Catalog & Internet Businesses Only and do not select a state.

Can I personalize my homepage?

Mom Index members can access a personal homepage called "My Mom Index". Members can save their favorite articles, tips, business listings and recipes. In addition, members will have the option to import a personal photograph and to create a personal to do list with a maximum of ten to do items. Members will be able to manage this page and will also have the option to delete favorites that are no longer needed.

How do I add photos to My Mom Index Homepage?

Mom Index allows users to post a personal photograph on the My Mom Index homepage. Photographs must be in .jpg or .gif format. We recommend your photo size be 250 x 250.

What can I save to My Mom Index and My Favorites pages?

Mom Index allows users to save Mom Index Business Listings, tips, articles and recipes. Members will be able to reference and manage these items from their My Mom Index homepage and My Favorites page.

How can I purchase a Business Listing?

Select the List Your Business link from the website footer or the Home header tab.  You can purchase a business listing via our website using our secure credit card payment system, secured through GeoTrust.   Payment options are American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard.  Mom Index offers various Business Listing options.   Mom Index is not affiliated with listed businesses nor is Mom Index a sponsor of these resources or brands.
